SKP 30 – “HiDyn plus” Plug-on Transmitter for Cabled Microphones
The SKP 30 is a very compact and rugged plug-on transmitter which enables any cabled microphone to be instantly converted for RF wireless operation. Designed to meet the requirements of PA companies andbroadcast, film and video sound recording professionals, the SKP 30 features 48V phantom powering for condenser microphones and the Sennheiser patented HiDyn plus™ noise reduction system, which ensures full
compatibility with Sennheiser’s state-of-the-art 3000 and 5000 Series RF wireless systems. The plug-on transmitter is also an ideal choice for ENG applications, for example in conjunction with Sennheiser’s EK 3041
miniature receiver.
Suitable for worldwide use, the SKP 30 is available in nine different frequency ranges with 1,280 transmission
frequencies each. Within a switching bandwidth of 32 MHz, 16 frequencies can be programmed to presets in 25 kHz steps. Powered by a standard 9 V PP3 battery, the plug-on transmitter delivers an RF output power of 30 mW.
Battery status is displayed on the transmitter, which additionally transmits a “low batt” warning to the receiver.
