Sennheiser at ISE 2011: new microphone solutions, audio technology for conferences and guided tours, RF wireless technology (copy)
Wedemark/Amsterdam, 1 February 2011 – At ISE in Amsterdam, audio specialist Sennheiser is exhibiting its wide range of installed sound solutions.
Updated ADN discussion system. A new system update makes ADN even more user-friendly and improves speech intelligibility in conferences that involve several locations. In a sneak preview, Sennheiser is also showing the ADN PS power supply unit, which will be available from autumn 2011. This unit makes it possible to set up conference systems for up to 400 participants. (See separate press release, “Sennheiser expands its ADN discussion system”.)
New entry-level gooseneck microphones. The MEG 14-40 B gooseneck microphone and its sister model, the MEG 14-40-L B with LED ring, are the first two microphones in Sennheiser’s new entry-level range of speakers’ microphones. (See separate press release, “New microphone solutions for ceiling and desk installation”.)
New ceiling microphones. For ceiling installation Sennheiser offers the ME 34, ME 35 and ME 36 modular microphones as well as ceiling accessories in white. (See separate press release, “New microphone solutions for ceiling and desk installation”.)
Tourguide 2020-D. The digital, licence-free Tourguide 2020-D wireless system will be shown both as a tour guide version and as a conference solution. For tours, the system combines the stethoset or bodypack receivers for visitors with the tour guide’s microphone transmitter or bodypack transmitter. Up to six languages can be transmitted simultaneously. A charging case makes the system mobile and protects it when being transported. For lectures, conferences and multilingual symposia, the participants’ receivers get their audio from the stationary SR 2020-D transmitter. It is possible to set up conference systems for up to eight simultaneously translated languages. The participants’ receivers are conveniently recharged and programmed in charging racks for up to 40 receivers.
guidePORT. This award-winning audioguide system brings exhibitions to life: museums and theme parks can use guidePORT to create all kinds of installations, from systems which automatically play spoken text and music to button-activated information services, and tours with museum guides.
Wireless microphones. Sennheiser will display its complete –II range, which comprises the EM 3732-II receiver family, the SKM 5200-II handheld transmitter and the SK 5212-II bodypack transmitter. The mark II models have a switching bandwidth of up to 184 MHz, making them a frequency-agile solution for large touring productions. Likewise, evolution wireless and 2000 Series systems will be on display.
Other products. Sennheiser BeNeLux will also show APart and K-Array products, including the Tornado KTL 22 loudspeaker with integrated RGB LED spotlight, the Rumble KU36 subwoofer, the KA1-1 PA system and line array element, and the Red Line KR400S portable loudspeaker.
