Sennheiser presents Evolution Wireless G3 & 2000 Series!

Third generation of the highly successful wireless series launched in India

Evolution wireless is now in its third generation!  Sennheiser, the world’s leading manufacturer of sound and audio solutions has come up with a whole range of exciting addition for its most successful wireless series to offer up-and-coming bands, established performers, presenters, musicians, reporting teams and Rental companies’ outstanding quality. Extending its commitment to India the entire range was unveiled for the first time in the country, Mumbai, those present on the occasion included Mr. Paul Whiting Global President of Sales, Sennheiser electronic GmbH & Co. KG and Ms Sharmila Sahai, Managing Director, Sennheiser Electronics, India Pvt. Ltd along with top company officials.

Sennheiser is presenting the new 100, 300 and 500 G3 series, as well as the new 300 IEM G3 wireless monitoring system and ENG sets for reporters & filmmakers and the unmatched200 series .
No matter which series the user chooses, the complete systems guarantee fast and uncomplicated set-up and ensure that users can “go on air” without a hitch: the transmitters can be syn¬chronised with the receivers via an infrared interface, the frequency management function makes more compatible frequencies avail¬able and all third-generation series now have a switching bandwidth of 42 MHz.

The operating menu is now even more user-friendly: the separation into a “User Level” and an “Advanced Level” means that the most important functions can be accessed more quickly. While the User Level contains the functions for the sound engineer’s everyday work, such as the selection of the frequency presets and the audio level, the Advanced Level is reserved for more specialised programming that is not performed every day, such as direct frequency selection, reset to factory settings and — for the 300 and 500 Series — synchronisation and warning settings.

For convenient PC control, the 300 and 500 Series have now been fitted with an Ethernet interface. Via a standard Ethernet switch, the rack-mount devices can be directly connected to a PC with Sennheiser’s “Wireless Systems Manager” software. This professional software makes monitoring and data management much easier to handle — a valuable asset especially in multi-channel applications. In order to further improve multi-channel capability, the standard output power in both series can be reduced from 30 mW to 10 mW, making it possible to accommodate even more channels in a given frequency range.

The 500 Series also has the highest quality acoustics: the handheld transmitters are equipped with capsules from the evolution 900 stage series, while the clip-on microphone is the legendary MKE 2-Gold.

The 2000 Series includes SKM 2000, ER 2000 IEM, EM 2000, EM 2050, SK 2000, SKP 2000, SR 2000 IEM, SR 2050 IEM, rugged products for a wide range of wireless applications. Handheld and body pack transmitters with single or twin receivers are available for stage, broadcasting and installed sound applications. For monitoring, professional users can combine the diversity receivers of the series with single or twin monitor transmitters.

Flexible, reliable, with a sound that cannot be beaten – Sennheiser's cordless components have an outstanding reputation among stage professionals. The 2000 series now make it possible to enter into the world of professional wireless technology. The list of features reads like a wish-list: their technical highlights include five useable frequency windows of up to 75 MHz, switchable RF output power, network-compatibility and optimum operation using rechargeable batteries on all components, to name just a few. Concert stages, broadcasting, theaters and the film industry now benefit from this impressive wireless option.
