Sennheiser announces “You Know You Can Rock Harder G3 Challenge” in association with Shankar, Ehsan, Loy

Talent search for the best music band in the country

 

Sennheiser, the world’s leading manufacturer of sound and audio solutions, today announced a new initiative “Sennheiser You Know You Can Rock Harder G3 Challenge !” in association with popular music director trio Shankar, Ehsaan, Loy; to promote and encourage the young and talented music bands who want to make it big in the Indian music industry. 
 
In the country’s first of its kind initiative, Sennheiser launched a talent hunt for the best music band in the country at Grand Hyatt, Mumbai. The contest emphasizes Sennheiser’s commitment towards creating an innovative and collaborative environment which nurtures talent, encourages training and gives the best rewards for the people to achieve their dream of making it big in the music industry.


The “Sennheiser You Know You Can Rock Harder G3 Challenge !” will prove to be an ideal platform for the young and talented music bands in the country to achieve their ambitions and create magic with Sennheiser’s high quality professional sound equipment that is used by the best around the world. The winner of this aspiring band contest wins the latest advance technology G3 range by Sennheiser. The event began with Mr. Paul Whiting, Global President of Sales, Sennheiser Electronic GmbH & Co. KG & Ms Sharmila Sahai, Managing Director, Sennheiser Electronics, India Pvt. Ltd; gifting a personalized microphone to Shankar, Ehsan & Loy as a token of appreciation for their continued association and advocacy of the Sennheiser brand. 
 
On the occasion, Ms Sharmila Sahai, Managing Director, Sennheiser Electronics, India said that “You Know You Can Rock Harder G3 Challenge aims to find the best of young Indian music amongst the talented gamut of amateur bands who have found local success in the country. Sennheiser India is committed to provide the best of sound and audio to the Indian music industry, to enable a play of outstanding quality, in sync with International standards”. 
While speaking to media at the event Shankar, lead singer on the group, on behalf of his team said “We are very happy to be here with the Sennheiser family. Great music needs great sound and Sennheiser has always lived up to its promise of creating magic with its sound equipment. The ‘Sennheiser You Know You Can Rock Harder G3 Challenge’ challenge is a unique initiative to bring young Indian talent of this nation to the forefront and nurture, develop music in India.”
 
The contest will start on 2nd of June and continue till 15th of July. Any Indian Rock band will be eligible to participate and all they would be required to do is to log on to http://www.g3rocks.co.in and send there original composition to contact@G3rocks.co.in  All the information about the contest will be available on www.G3rocks.co.in
