The Hives
In 2001 The Hives burst out from homegrown success in their native Sweden to become bonafide global stars with their blistering rock anthem 'Hate To Say I Told You So'. Since then they have delivered a top drawer level of belting singles including the likes of 'Main Offender', 'Supply And Demand' and 'Walk Idiot Walk'.
After being snapped up by Universal Records on a massive record deal the first fruits of that new deal came with their last album, 2004's 'Tyrannosaurus Hives' which didn't show a great departure from their U.K debut 'Your New Favourite Band'. In the three years since they've been travelling the globe playing hundreds of their electric live shows alongside working on the material features on their new album 'The Black And White Album' which was released October 15 2007. Machine-gun vocals from Howlin' Pelle Almqvist and trademark guitar riffs, complimented by a suitably tight rhythm section. The album is partly produced by Pharrell Williams, with 'Tick Tick Boom' an included single.
